The L261 SNP is ready to be ordered from the FTDNA.
Log in to your FTDNA page. Go to "Order Tests & Upgrades". Then click on "Go to Advanced Orders". Then click on the check box next to "SNP". You will see it listen bellow.
The price of the test is $29.00. And note that a $9.50 one-time fee will be applied to transfer your DNA from the Arizona Lab to the Houston Lab.
I recommend the Armenian (Kit# 83298) to order it first.

Undergrounder do you know if the two R2's that were added to the Anatolian C cluster lately are related to each other? Have the tests been done by Manoukian...or are they random matches?

The two new R2's in Anatolian Cluster C are Armenian, just like Manoukian. None of the three Armenians are genealogically related. They are random matches.

Kit# 83298 has been tested negative (L261-) for this SNP.
This leads to the following:
1- L261 was born in Anatolia.
2- L261 is Greek so far.
3- Since the TMRCA of 83298 and E5125 is approximately 1500 years, the age of L261 shall not exceed that time (It could be anytime from Rhyndakos birth date up to approximately 1500 years).
Let's wait for L263 to be offered and see the status of kit #83298 regarding this SNP.

We need people who have smaller Genetic Distance to Rhyndakos to test for this SNP !
The closest Genetic Distance to Rhyndakos is GD=13/67 (with kit #83298).
